IntegradePro: Putting the First or Third Quarter Grade in the InteGrade Pro Spreadsheet (so parents see it in InTouch)

After you do this, your first/third quarter grade will show in the spreadsheet so parents see it when they open the “gradebook” for your class, and they will know where second/fourth quarter began. If you are using separate spreadsheets for each quarter, do this at the end of the first/third quarter spreadsheet. If your tasks for the entire semester are in one spreadsheet, place this item between the first and second quarter tasks or between the third and fourth quarter tasks.

 

1.                 Open your First (or Third) Quarter spreadsheet. Create a new task called “1st Quarter Grade” or “1st Quarter Progress” (or adjust titles for 3rd quarter). (Adding the HTML coding “<b>1st Quarter Grade</b>” will make it bold.)  Make it worth 100 points and give it a scale factor of 0.  Hit “Create.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.                 Click on the gray title of the first quarter grade column. Choose “Replace Task.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.                 Highlight your first quarter numeric spreadsheet (it may still be called “Numeric Spreadsheet” unless you changed its name).  Hit Next.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.                 Choose the “Numeric Spreadsheet Grade” for your spreadsheet (it should be the top choice) and hit Next.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.                 Choose “Percentage” and hit Next.  IGPro will tell you it has all the information it needs. Hit “OK.”

 

 

 

6.                 Grades in this task should match the percentages in the right-hand column (at least until you add tasks for the next quarter). Save your gradebook to the server. Next time InTouch is updated, if you look at an individual student’s gradebook, your entry should look something like the bold one near the bottom:
