The principal is the administrative and supervisory head of the school, and as such assumes the responsibility for the administration of the general policies and programs of the school system as they apply to the school. The principal’s duties include the interpretation and enactment of general school policies as adopted by the Board of Education, the Superintendent of Schools and his administrative staff. PARENT LIAISON


Ed Rogers, Parent Liaison

The Parent Liaison provides families of Leavenworth High School and the North Broadway Education Center with the information, education and support they require to become informed and effective advocates for their children and partners with their children’s schools so as to improve their educational outcomes.

Mr. Rogers attended Pittsburg State University (Pittsburg, Kansas), Golden West College (Huntington Beach, California) and is a graduate of Cypress College (Cypress, California). Mr. Rogers is also a graduate of Leavenworth High School.

SPECIAL EDUCATION SUPPORT STAFF


Deni Davis, Special Education Coordinator

Facilitates and coordinates meetings for chronic student issues
Coordinates with outside agencies concerning student and school issues

Coordinates in-services for Special Education Department

ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL

The Leavenworth Alternative Education Center is located at the district’s North Broadway facilities. Questions about the Alternative Education Center should be directed to Tiera Kronshage, Principal of the Leavenworth Alternative Education Center, 684-1580.

Tiera Caley-Kronshage, Principal, Leavenworth Alternative Education Center

Ms. Caley-Kronshage graduated from Fort Osage High School in Independence, Missouri. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Emotional Disorders, a master’s degree in School Leadership from Park University, and a specialist degree in District Leadership from William Woods University. She plans to begin working on her MBA.

Ms. Caley-Kronshage began her career in education as a paraprofessional and an assistant basketball, volleyball, and softball coach at Fort Osage High School. She has taught special education for seven years. She has been a special education director and an assistant director. She has coached numerous sports at the varsity and junior varsity levels.

Ms. Caley-Kronshage has one son, who is sixteen years old. She enjoys camping, reading, travel, and spending time with her family. She has lived in Leavenworth for five years and is thrilled to be a Leavenworth Pioneer.
