Peer Mediation

Purpose

Peer mediation at Leavenworth High School mediates conflict amongst LHS students when needed.

Selection

Student are recommended by their teachers to be peer mediators. To be selected, the student must be considered a leader among his or her peers and have good attendance. Students must also stay out of trouble themselves so that they are available for the sponsors. Training sessions are held every other year to train new mediators.
