Student Council
Student Council is a non-profit organization that focuses on school involvement and community service. StuCo promotes leadership and unity among the student body and in the community.
What we do
Student Council plans and organizes mixers, Homecoming, Blood Drives, Spirit Assemblies, Morning Announcements, Earth Day Clean Up, Food Drives, Elementary Tutoring Program, along with many other events.
How to join
Elections are held for incoming freshman and new students within the first two weeks of school. A petition form will need to be filled out and a short essay will need to be written, which can be picked up in the main office. The petition form and essay needs to be turned in to Mrs. Shepard or Mrs. Parker before campaign week begins.
What do you get out of it?
There are lettering opportunities throughout the year. Each member gains responsibility, meets many new people, increases leadership skills, and gets involved within the school and community.
