International Club

Purpose

The purpose of the International Club is to recognize other cultures and form international friendships. Discover the world with the International Club!

General Information

Meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month. All LHS students are welcome to join us. For a schedule of dates and for event details, see our Moodle.

Officers for 2006-07

Elections will be held in September.

Officer Duties

Here is Article VII taken from the constitution of the Club, which affects officer election.

"Attendance policies are required. The secretary must keep attendance. A member should be in attendance a minimum of 50% of the time in order to be a member in good standing and be eligible for any activities. An officer must be in attendance a minimum of 80% of the time to keep his/her position. In addition, officers must inform sponsors if unable to attend meetings."

Officers need to attend both officer and club meetings to plan and support the Club. You've promised the members that you are the best choice for the Club, and you have to fulfill your promise!
