Leadership Camp

Welcome,

The JROTC program provides students the opportunity to learn about leadership and how to apply it to their life. As a cadet progresses through the program, they will learn more and more skills that will make them a better citizen. The cadets are separated into four LET (Leadership Education and Training) levels where they learn and train.

LET I cadets discuss citizenship, leadership, and a number of other courses designed to help the cadets succeed in high school and after graduation. LET II cadets focus on advance leadership, first aid, and land navigation. LET III cadets will not only be more involved as teacher and leaders within the cadet battalion, but they will also do more independent studies in the areas of communication, leadership, first aid, history, map reading, and career opportunities. LET IV cadets are responsible for the day to day activities and training, they also operate as commanders and staff officers. All cadets are required to wear the uniform once a week for inspection.

While taking the JROTC class, you will learn only as much as you put into it. If you do your best every single day, you will become a great citizen and will have formed good values and habits that will help you succeed in college and the future.

C/CPT Jacob Gardner,
Battalion commander
