About Muncie Elementary School: Muncie Elementary School has met Adequate Yearly Progress set by the state for Reading and Math. The building made Standard of Excellence in Math in 2005. The Building Improvement Plan was revised and approved by the Site Council. Grade level teachers meet once a week for Professional Learning Communities in which they monitor curriculum and testing by looking at each individual students data. The Boys Town Social Skills Program is the curriculum used for teaching behavior. In order to keep our school safe and positive, a bullying program is introduced to all students in the fall of each year. Student activities and leadership opportunities are offered after school, such as Library Club, Cup Stacking, and Student Council.
Muncie Elementary School classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and end at 3:15 p.m.
