The principal is the administrative and supervisory head of the school, and as such assumes the responsibility for the administration of the general policies and programs of the school system as they apply to the school. The principal’s duties include the interpretation and enactment of general school policies as adopted by the Board of Education, the Superintendent of Schools and his administrative staff.
